Our VISION & KEY VALUES

Our Vision

Be my rock of refuge to which I can always go.
Psalm 71
Our vision is rooted in the example of the life of Saint Peter. The gospels share the life of an ordinary man, surviving hardship, chosen to follow Jesus. He was described as the Rock of the church because of the faith he confessed. His mission was to keep this faith and strengthen others in it.

Our school strives to be that rock for our families, many of whom have arrived here for a better life. They are enabled, supported, loved and welcomed into our school family where they and their children flourish. School becomes their rock on which they can fulfill their God given potential.

St Peter's C of E Primary School is a vibrant and exciting Church of England School with high expectations of the inner city families it serves. With an eclectic mix of cultures, faiths, backgrounds and 23 languages we embrace the diverse needs of our families and ensure that pupils make excellent progress throughout school.

Building on the strong Christian foundation at St Peter’s our vision is to nurture and support each individual to be confident, resilient, kind and respectful, to develop spiritually and to leave us as caring, hard-working pupils who aspire to be their best. We realise our vision through the implementation of our key values.

Our brilliant Worship Group

Our amazing worship group led Friday's assembly. They worked with Mrs Holliday to organise worship on 'The Fruits of the Holy Spirit'. They did a super job and everyone really enjoyed the assembly. Well done Worship Group!
